Who we are.
Dikuno Tsa Sechaba Community Development Trust was established in 2012 as a Public Benefit Organisation, part of the Alchemy family of trusts formed through a R3.5 billion community empowerment and shared ownership initiative.
Our partnership
Dikuno forms part of the Alchemy family of community development trusts, supported through Lefa La Rona Trust, which holds community shareholding on behalf of beneficiary communities.
Our footprint
Our development footprint spans roughly 7,800 km² across Limpopo and North West, covering the Thabazimbi and Moses Kotane Local Municipalities and an estimated 160,000 people.
Our structure
Value created today is intended to contribute to long-term social and economic development for current and future generations, through the broader Alchemy structure.
What makes us different
Our purpose remains to work alongside communities, partners and stakeholders — strengthening local capacity while building resilience for the future.
Vision, mission & governance in one place.
To contribute towards sustainable community upliftment through mining, and beyond mining — enhancing diverse socio-economic development through active participation and partnerships.
To lead the development aspirations of the communities we assist by partnering with them to address the multi-dimensional challenges they face.
Guided by the Trust Deed, the Trust Property Control Act and the King Code — with a Board of Trustees overseeing every project and Rand spent.
